My eBook: The Water Cycle

I decided to create an eBook that described the basics of the water cycle. Not only will we be covering this process in our science and environment unit, but I am demonstrating how you grade 8s can use the google presentation application to share information. This is a GREAT resource for information about the water cycle and also an amazing example of what google presentation can do. From transitions to animations, check it out and see!

The water cycle is made up of 4 processes: evaporation, condensation, precipitation and collection. Each of these processes is fundamental to the water cycle and all build off of each other. One cannot occur without the other and vice versa.

There are many links within the eBook that will help you to comprehend these processes in more detail and I hope that you really take a look at them. We need to comprehend the water cycle in detail, so that we can further our knowledge about the environment. Many environmental factors contribute to the function of the water cycle and issues including farm run-off can also be connected to the water cycle as well.

There are also games that are included in the presentation. Make sure that you check them out so that you can practice you comprehension in a fun and interactive manner. Write down any games that you find on your own and would like to share with the whole class.
